The Design

The Ruins to Roses Series tells the narrative about the fall, and rise, of the P.O.P (Pacific Ocean Pier) of Venice Beach otherwise known as the Birthplace of the Z-Boys. The burnt down pier was a graveyard of broken dreams and family memories that led to a new world of youth uprising with an apocalyptic desire to skate and surf harder than anyone else.

The Ruins to Roses Series uses black oak exotic veneers that are contrasted with the gold print and gold components.

Waterborne Technology
Built for Strength

Waterborne have designed the Adapter for the most aggressive surf-skaters in the world. Tested under forces of up to 1500 lbs, far more than any rider could exert.

The aluminum alloy used has elasticity, originally intended to make the Adapter more durable, but also added a layer of suspension between the rider and the ground.

Very nice deck, really poor bearings.

The deck is just beautiful and feel very well made, the trucks and wheels are ok, they do their job. But those Z-flex ABEC 7 bearings are just horrible, you can push as hard as you want/can and you won´t move forward more than 2 meter before those things decelerate your inertia like a bike with flat tires. I went once out for a ride and back home just went ahead to get some decent bearings. I would have pay without problem 20 extra bucks to get stock something like bones reds at least. Z-flex please really have a look on that, because the first ride Impression is kind of poor. Regards from España (Europe)

CARVES AND QUICK TURNS

Purchased this beau yesterday. A good board, really sturdy, but when I grabbed it from Fast Times, the grip was easy to rip off maybe due to it collecting dust, always change the grip tape you guys be safe out there. All in all, this beau carves and is really easy to turn, running a lil' downhill and you'll definitely fly along with it. Great for intermediate to expert level cruising but is also good for beginners to learn (just on a flat and continuous road, no rocks or pebbles). The size is definitely good for beginners too, if they want to have a board that acts like a longboard but is portable enough (longboards are safer to use especially for beginners since the longer the board the stable it is) and the design and colour scheme is a nice touch too (my boyfriend and best friend loves green). DEFINITELY WORTH BUYING AND RIDING. Happy cruising!
